Communities in Gokwe south have come together with the support of their local Agritex office in diverse, innovative ways of adapting to the reality of climate change. An agro-based economy, Gokwe South is one of the districts in Zimbabwe experiencing the effects of climate change characterised by extreme weather patterns inclusive of recurring droughts, mid-season dry spells and sometimes yearly floods.
